New Venue for Matches 2005/6 Season for Manor Badminton Club

Manor B.C. have left their previous venue at Blessed Thomas Holford School and
will be playing  their home matches for the 2005/6 season at a new venue which
is:

Altrincham College of Arts
(Formerly Green Lane High School)
Green Lane
Timperley
Altrincham  WA15 8QW

Match  Night  will  be Monday, with matches played throughout on 2 courts from
7:30  to 9:30pm. Visiting teams are asked to arrive at 7:15pm so that a prompt
start can be made on both courts. We cannot continue play after 9:30pm.

The new venue has excellent changing rooms and shower facilities.

Directions: Head from Altrincham along Stockport Road which becomes Shaftsbury
Avenue (otherwise known as the Timperley  by-pass).  Turn right at the traffic
lights into the A5144 (Thorley Lane).  Go  past Timperley church then straight
on at the roundabout heading towards Hale.   Turn  sharp right into Green Lane
and the entrance to the College is almost  immediately on your left.  A little
further up Green Lane on the right is the  entrance  to  the  Wyvevale  Garden
Centre.

The Sports Hall  is  a very recently constructed building right at the rear of
the College. Drive  into the College and through into the first car park.

Approach the long low school building at the far end of the car park then turn
left through metal  gates then turn right (between the metal support posts for
an overhead roof  to  a  walkway)  through  more  metal  gates to the car park
adjacent to the  Sports  Hall.  The  entrance is mid-way along the hall down a
wheelchair ramp.
